TIFIN Give is a modern, digital donor-advised fund (DAF) platform built for todayʼs wealth management ecosystem. It helps advisors and their clients give more efficiently, more strategically, and with greater visibility, while reducing administrative burden for charitable organizations. TIFIN is now working with Chariot to deliver fast and secure grant payments that are easier for nonprofits to manage.

How TIFIN Give Works

Key stakeholders involved with donations through TIFIN Give:

Technology Provider: TIFIN Give

DAF Sponsor: GiveClear Foundation

DAF Program Provider: Wealth Enterprises/Asset Managers/Financial Advisors

Donor: Retail clients to the Wealth Enterprise

Disbursement Solution: Chariot

TIFIN Give partners with GiveClear Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and DAF sponsor, to host donor-advised fund accounts that integrate seamlessly with the TIFIN Give platform. Account holders are individual clients of participating wealth firms, who access and manage their DAFs through an advisor- or firm-branded portal. Within that experience, donors submit grant recommendations, which are reviewed and approved by GiveClear Foundation and then processed through the Chariot platform for efficient disbursement.

Today, TIFIN Give supports more than 1,500 advisors across over 100 firms, helping them serve 2,000+ donors by integrating charitable giving into broader financial and wealth strategies.

How Nonprofits Should Treat Gifts through TIFIN

For gift processing purposes, nonprofits should be most mindful of the legal source of funds and end donor’s perspective. In the example above, the underlying legal DAF sponsor is GiveClear Foundation and the donor would say they are using AssetMark for their DAF.

Chariot has worked with TIFIN Give to standardize how this information is presented in your Chariot dashboard for their customers: the “Source” field would be “GiveClear Foundation” and the “DAF Program” field will show the firm’s name (e.g. AssetMark).

Otherwise, all the fields provided will follow standard DAF gift convention (fund name, donor name, etc.).
