Thrivent Charitable is giving donors seamless access to DAF giving wherever they’re inspired to give online through DAFpay, just in time for DAF Day 2025.

Thrivent Charitable donors can now give from their donor-advised fund as easily as using a credit card — thanks to a new partnership with Chariot, creator of DAFpay, the first and only DAF payment option.

Thrivent Charitable, a leading donor-advised fund provider serving donors who are passionate about making positive impact in their communities, is partnering with Chariot to enable seamless DAF giving directly from Thrivent Charitable accounts through DAFpay.

Thrivent Charitable’s purpose is to open the joy of generosity to all, and the new partnership makes it even easier for donors to use their DAF in more places — anytime they’re inspired to give. Thrivent Charitable donors can now use DAFpay on more than 100,000 nonprofit donation forms, enabling a DAF “checkout” which is faster and simpler than donating with a credit card. This speed is especially valuable for time-sensitive campaigns such as giving days, crisis response, or peer-to-peer fundraisers.

“It’s a top priority of Thrivent Charitable to make it easy for anyone to give to the causes they cherish,” shares Karen Voracek, Vice President, Donor Experience, Marketing and Strategy at Thrivent Charitable. “That’s why we are excited to unlock the power of DAFpay for anyone with a Thrivent Charitable DAF account.”

With DAFpay, donors can complete a grant request in just three clicks, while nonprofits receive instant confirmation, enabling real-time campaign tracking and immediate donor acknowledgment.

“We’re proud to partner with mission-first DAFs like Thrivent Charitable, who put the donor experience first,” adds Mitch Stein, Head of Strategy at Chariot. “They truly ‘walk the talk’ when it comes to maximizing DAF usage and improving the nonprofit experience with DAF giving by being proactive with capabilities like DAFpay.”

The partnership launched just in time for DAF Day Oct. 9 — a national celebration of donor-advised fund giving. Thrivent Charitable joins 26 other DAF Providers this year in officially partnering on the initiative, promoting the DAF giving holiday to their audience and contributing their DAF Day giving stats to the national impact report.

Together, Thrivent Charitable and Chariot are redefining how DAF giving happens — fast, flexible, and wherever generosity is inspired.
