GoodToday, a kindness platform for workplace giving, is the latest grantmaking organization to adopt Chariot Disbursements for faster, easier and safer payments to nonprofits.
Partnership Background
GoodToday’s platform empowers employees to give a company sponsored donation on a daily basis at work. They offer a slack integration that prompts employees to review two nonprofits and “vote” on which to give their daily dollar to. Those dollars really add up across their thousands of users!
Chariot offers GoodToday to all of our employees and everyone loves starting their day learning about amazing organizations and being part of a large collective impact somewhere new every day.
As a facilitator of giving by many people to a constantly changing group of nonprofits each month, it was a labor-intensive process for the GoodToday team to send funds to the nonprofit beneficiaries. That all changed after adopting Chariot for their Disbursements:

GoodToday + Chariot Disbursements* | Impact by the numbers
93% reduction in time spent by GoodToday on grant payment operations
Funds in-hand at nonprofits instantly after claiming their Chariot Account
No cost to nonprofits to receive Disbursements on Chariot.
“Many organizations are nominated by our community because they care deeply about the cause, and many are responding to emergencies and disasters. Getting their funds to them faster is going to have a huge impact.”
Set up Process
GoodToday was able to set up with Chariot Disbursements in a few days with key steps including:
Claiming their Chariot Account
Aligning their grant details to the Chariot template
Reviewing and submitting in the Chariot dashboard
From there, Chariot handles everything else including organization verification and payment execution, either via instant digital payment if the organization claims their account or via verified check if need be.
“The Chariot team has been incredible and so helpful every step of the way. Thank you all so much!”
