Integration Guide: Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Phase 1: Setup within Raiser's Edge NXT

Step #1: Navigate to the Blackbaud Marketplace and find the Chariot App.

Step #2: Select the option to Get Started with the application.

Note: If you do not see the "Get started" button, log out of your account and try again without logging back in. If the problem persists, reach out to us at contact@givechariot.com

Step #3: Sign into your Blackbaud account

Step #4: Click 'Connect'

Step #5: Click 'Get started with Chariot'

You will be redirected to Chariot's website to register your nonprofit and select a plan. After you complete registration, please navigate back to your Blackbaud form to complete the integration.

Step #6: Navigate to your donation form designer and select 'Add-ins' - Chariot DAF Payment Option should now be available. Drag the add-in and drop it in the desired location on your donation form.

Step #7: After dragging the add-in to your form, a window will pop up prompting you to connect your Chariot account. Make sure to select "I registered for Chariot account or already have one".

Step #8: Enter your organization's EIN

Step #9: Select 'Use default content'

Step #10: Make sure to place Chariot at the top of your form so donors are aware that they can donate with their DAF, before filling out the rest of your form. Also, we recommend adding a header.

Step #10: Save and close. You're ready to supercharge your DAF donations!
